The young Brockham team travelled to Carshalton knowing they would be in for a tough game. They certainly got what they expected, however they were unfortunate to come away empty handed. They were quickest out of the blocks, dominating the first half and clearly surprising Carshalton, with Nataniel King and Callum Agent scoring two excellent goals.
Brockham continued to attack at the beginning of the second half, however, poor defence of two set pieces allowed Carshalton to level the score. The Brockham defence were indecisive and failed to press the forwards, allowing Carshalton to pounce and easily find the net on both occasions. Brockham didn't give up and earned the lead again as an on target shot by man of the match Thomas Hemming took a deflection off a defender to pass the keeper.
Another set piece saw Carshalton draw level before they snatched an unlikely winner in the closing moments.
