D division Badgers U16B have had a promising start to the season, but were put to a real test in this cup fixture against Southwater Red who currently top the A Division after a 100 per cent start to the season.
Despite the scoreline, Brockham can feel pleased with their performance against a good side, defending well for the majority of the game. Indeed if it had not been for a terrible start, when Brockham conceded after 15 seconds of the match and again after 2 minutes, plus two late goals, the scoreline may have been rather more respectable.
As it turned out, Southwater of course ran out easy winners, but Brockham produced a good number of efforts on goal themselves and some pleasing defending and passing that bodes well when Badgers return to league action.
