The Badgers had a tough first round Cup draw away against League leaders East Grinstead. Although the score line looked uneven, the Badgers held their own for much of the match, creating several scoring chances which would have made the result closer. The boys maintained their commitment throughout the match and were at last rewarded through Patrick Scarr’s goal. Jed Simister had an effort cleared off the line near the end.
